Creation of Lagardère Television International

Lagardère Active has merged its two branches Lagardère Networks International (LNI) and Lagardère Images International (LII) into Lagardère Television International.
International distribution and international developments of TV channels will thus be managed by Lagardère Television International (LTI).
Jean ROUILLY, CEO of LNI and LII, becomes CEO of LAGARDERE TELEVISION INTERNATIONAL.
Olivier BIBAS, formerly Secretary General of LNI and LII, has been appointed Deputy Managing Director of LAGARDERE TELEVISION INTERNATIONAL.
Since 2003, Lagardère Images International has been a partner of the Qatar Foundation for the launching and operations of the pan Arab edutainment channel “Al Jazeera Children’s channel”.
Lagardère Networks International (LNI) manages the international distribution of branded thematic television channels of Lagardère Active, AB Group, LUXE.TV, Performance Channel and SciTech TV. 
New agreement on Mezzo distribution on UPC’s cable networks in Hungary

UPC Hungary and Lagardere Networks International today announced that they reached a new agreement on the further distribution of the music and arts thematic TV channel, Mezzo, on UPC’s networks in Hungary. The agreement makes possible the continuous transmission of the classic and jazz music channel to the largest Hungarian cable network.

By the new agreement Mezzo is now available in more than 400,000 households connected to UPC’s cable networks throughout Hungary.

LUXE.TV, the first international television network exclusively dedicated to the world of Luxury, has reached agreement with LAGARDERE NETWORKS INTERNATIONAL, a subsidiary of LAGARDERE ACTIVE, regarding the distribution of LUXE.TV HD (High Definition) and SD (Standard Definition) channels in Central and Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Spain, Portugal, Israël and Africa.

SciTech TV, Second Eicom Channel signs with Lagardère Networks International

Eicom plc, (“Eicom”; stock code: EIC), announces that it has reached agreement with Lagardère Networks International (“LNI”) regarding the international distribution of Eicom’s science and technology channel, SciTech TV.
Under the terms of the agreement, LNI will be the exclusive representative for Sci Tech TV’s international distribution within Continental Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. LNI already handles the international distribution for Eicom’s Performance channel.
Philippe Rouxel, Deputy Managing Director of Lagardère Networks International commented:

Performance Channel

PERFORMANCE CHANNEL, owned and operated by EICOM PLC, today announces that it has entered a distribution agreement with LAGARDERE NETWORKS INTERNATIONAL, a subsidiary of LAGARDERE ACTIVE.
Under the terms of the agreement, LAGARDERE NETWORKS INTERNATIONAL will be the exclusive representative for PERFORMANCE CHANNEL’s international distribution within Continental Europe, The Middle-East and Africa.
This provides an opportunity for PERFORMANCE CHANNEL to be marketed alongside LAGARDERE NETWORKS INTERNATIONAL’s existing portfolio of thematic channels, with a view to distribution on new types of digital platforms, such as digital cable and IPTV.

LNI-NON STOP collaboration in Scandinavia

LAGARDERE NETWORKS INTERNATIONAL started collaboration with NON STOP TELEVISION, representing MEZZO in the Nordic region from September 1st 2005.
LAGARDERE NETWORKS INTERNATIONAL (LNI) has closed a deal with the Stockholm based television company NonStop Television regarding exclusive distribution of the classical music and jazz television channel MEZZO in the Nordic market. The multi year agreement started on September 1st 2005 with aim to widen the channel's distribution.

Mezzo in Poland

LAGARDERE NETWORKS INTERNATIONAL has just signed a new distribution agreement for MEZZO, the European classical music and jazz TV channel, with CANAL+ CYFROWY, the operator of the leading Polish satellite platform CYFRA+ (with more than 650,000 subscribers), starting 1st December 2004.
Available free-of-charge to the entire CYFRA+ subscribers’ base during December 2004, MEZZO will be offered as of 1st January 2005 to all CYFRA+ subscribers for 4 Zlotys extra per month (equivalent to less than 1 Euro), as a complement to their existing subscription.
In addition to this new distribution via satellite, MEZZO is already available on all major cable networks in Poland, notably UPC Polska, Aster City, TKP, etc... and reaches over 900 000 Polish cable subscribers.
In parallel to this new distribution agreement in Poland, MEZZO will dedicate its programming strand CLASSIC EUROPE (first runs every Wednesday at 8:50 pm CET) specifically to Poland, its music, its artists, composers and performers throughout the whole month of January 2005.
MEZZO is available in France and Europe (covering 30+ territories) reaching more than 10 Million cable and satellite households.

TiJi and Filles TV join Canal J on Naxoo

Lagardère Networks International concluded a distribution agreement with Naxoo, the Swiss cable network (formerly known as Télégenève), for both TiJi and Filles TV youth channels.
Since December the 1st 2004, both channels are distributed alongside Canal J in the new digital offer Naxoo, within the "youth" package.
